I saw a spoon on mars this morning
This picture is tearing my guts apart
This picture is a total nightmare, a vision of your worst misery / it decomposes you … you thought you were standing, you felt some kind of existence and that it had some kind of sense … well not quite
Viscerally abominable
A lot like Solaris – you can’t escape your stupid mind…. No matter how far you go
And here, on Mars, going all the way to Mars to SEE a spoon…. It’s so beautiful so archaic, primal… there’s really something there, about our own nature, our disease – our charmingly genuine impossibility to be – in that picture… it reveals the trap / right here in front of your eyes… there’s no escape/// there’s a spoon on mars
This picture, it’s entering and contaminating your brain… it’s in fact contamination itself… it’s nothing… you are nothing but contaminated / there is something truly scary about this picture.
Because you did not even chose it, nothing about it is man-made… while we could doubt always about clouds… we have the choice to look, to ignore, to think we have imagination
Here, right in your face, you cannot not see it / it’s the worst kind of mirror… … when you least expected it, when you thought, hey finally I am reaching somewhere else… I went so far away … what do you see? A fucking-spoon
It is …. nailing you back down on the ground … for good /// really now we can stop sending these machines over there … mmm there’s not point … embrace the ridicule
It’s true horror because you do not have a choice / you see the total absence of meaning a priori of anything through that presence… this presence only talks about absence… about a kind of world’s essence, abrupt absurdness
And it does not even talk, there is no argument here, no possible dialogue, only the violent proof, the most primal deep-rooted evidence of nothingness
That spoon over there is an awful space / a zone of horror

well … and what if there had been nothing / could there have been nothing? Didn’t we feel much better to see that spoon after all, to all see that spoon … and spread it fast, fast… pfffew…
At l(e)ast, there’s a spoon on Mars
